Adding/Installing Applications
IP.Board includes a very powerful and extensive applications framework which allows your board to have additional "applications" that plug right in to your community.
Generally, once an application's files are uploaded via FTP to your community, you can then install them from the Manage Applications & Modules page in the System tab of your ACP.
Uninstalled applications are listed on the right hand side of the page, and they can be installed by clicking on the install button.
Adding/Installing Hooks
Hooks are a type of plugin for IP.Board which add additional functionality or override existing functionality. Hooks are board plugins that allow you to extend the functionality of your community without the need for file edits.
Generally, most hooks can be installed by uploading a special .xml file via the Manage Hooks page of your ACP.
