IP.Content 1.1.x features custom database support, allowing you to create your own custom databases of virtually anything, and then display this content on the front end. To display the database on the front end, you must take the following steps:
- First, you must create your database. You do this from the ACP under My Apps -> IP.Content -> Databases.
- Be sure that your database is open (this is specified when adding/editing a database), and that the appropriate user groups have permission to view the content within the database under the Permissions tab.
- Now you must embed the database into a page. Go to the Pages area and either create a new page or edit an existing page. On the screen where you specify the page content, click "Template Tag Help" and scroll to the bottom of the help window. The tag that you need to insert will be listed at the end of the template tag help window.
NOTE: You cannot simply copy and paste the tag provided in the "Template Tag Help" pane into a PHP page. You should use an HTML or BBCode page instead. - Save the page and view it in your browser.
