Anyone know what needs to be done to get Custom Pages working for 2.0 Final? I had 2.0 PF2 and when I upgraded to 2.0 Final the Custom Pages stopped working.

Could someone tell how to navigate to these pages below to edit in the ACP. This way I can use the 'revert' feature if I make a mistake in editing the code.

index.php
Admin.php
sources\admin\admin_pages.php
lang\en\lang_global.php

Why don't you just download those files and copy them as an backup.
Then modify them, upload the copies. If you make any mistake, upload the orriginals again

Follow the guidlines from that mod and it works in your IPB 2.0.1 Final version as well (like I did).
Best Regards,

Then don't bother asking for help via the IPS customer Chat. It's meant for basic chat not support, so you get what you ask for. ;)

Either way, I wish you get this sorted. :)

Humm, since you seem to know your way around here, point me to the direction of the "Custom, Hacks, and Modifications" support forum here on IPS so I can post there :-"

The revert feature is for skins and settings, not for editing files you're not meant to edit.

Don't be such an ass. These people are telling you the right things, things you obviously don't want to hear, so don't ask.

The revert feature is for settings and skin sets, not for files themselves. IPS and it's members are probably not going to help you at a place where modifications are not supported.

Of course you can't quite edit everything, but near to. It can't edit (for example) index.php or anything like this person asked.

STOP BEING DUMB.

Dumb would imply that I knew the answer in the first place. It seems that either no one knows the answer or it's just not possible, the latter I assume. However, there hasn't been anyone intelligent enough to point that out in a politically correct manner. Either way, I'm moving on...

They said it quite politically correctly, and you jumped down with "Lots of replies from people that don't know the answer"

That's going to piss people off, it makes you sound like an arrogant ass. Sure we're going to attack you with an attitude like that. As soon as you learn some manners, people will be happy to help you.

These guys don't have to help you, and you bash them. If you disagree, kindly say "I'm not sure if that's the case" or something to that effect and POLITELY ask if they are sure. Don't just say they don't know the answer. If you want to show an attitude like that, shut up.

Oh, and in response to your comment to everyone not being intelligent enough, go to hell.
