But basiclly there is going to be a price?
It would be nice if it were low priced, but it looks to nice to demand that!
Cant wait to try it!!!

:shifty: How much would it cost to bribe Matt to install it here, for customers only??? :shifty:

hmm, that depends on what people think is a 'fair price'. Also, will it be a one of fee or a yearly thing? If it's one off i say about $40, yearly, i say about $10 - $20

I could go with a yearly or one time fee. Or both. Because monthly... thats just too much of a hassle.

[quote name='IPS PR' date='Oct 4 2004, 04:59 PM']The Community Blog plugin will be a low-cost addition to Invision Power Board license holders.

I guess we get to see what is considered "low-cost" these days. For me, that would mean 1/4 to 1/3 off the cost of the software you must purchase in order to use the plugin. That would put it between $17.50 and $23.32 a year, or $49.75 - $66.33.

If it's anything over $70, well, let's hope it's not anything over $70.

Mike

That's what I'm hoping for too.

Get it out fast, the dollar is cheap for us IKEA-country-people right now. :P

Knowing Invisions usual pricing structure Id be willing to bet there's both a yearly and a lifetime option.

I opened up a support ticket asking this because I didn't see this answered anywhere, even though its been asked for weeks in numerous threads...

So here you go: I receieved this yesterday (10/26/04)
********************************
IPB v2.0.2 release (which is strictly some minor bug fixes - but with Blog Integration in place automagically) will be in public release within about 1 week.

Invision Community Blogger will be released at the same time.

Price = $65.00 per year
Annual Updates: $30.00 each year after the first.

All the best,

John

$65? wowser...I was willing to pay up to $50. I may still pay the $65, but I'm not very happy about it.

That doesn't seem possible, I'm guessing it's Price = $65.00 for the first year, not per year.. and then $30.00 each year after the first... A bit expensive if you ask me, but not everyone is poor like I am! :D

If that's true I want no part of it. Too much in my opinion.

Farrrrr too expensive. It's almost the same price as the IPB software it extends!

Wow, if Blizzard did that with Brood War and Lord of Destruction, they'd go broke!

Double standard of the day, huh?
