His diet would cause hypertension... not some "ambiguous kidney sore."

To reiterate, go see a doctor... sounds serious if it's nagging you.

On my right side sorta below my rib cage theres a dull pain... If its my kidneys what could it be? I know you guys aren't doctors but you will probably be more helpful then search engines like yahoo and google who just link to other engines... What might my dull pain be and if it continues how long should I wait to have it checked out? I've had it for 2 days...

Thanks, IPS Community :P

I stick to my usual foods: Cheeseburger, Coke, Long John Silvers Chicken, Pizza Lunchables and thats about it... Since 2003 or 2002.. But not so much that it would kill me in a couple of years.

Actually, I had the same thing recently. I spoke to a long time RN and a MD about it before off the record and they said that my diet (your's too by the look of it) can cause your gallbladder to act up. Your gallbladder typically echo's it's pain elsewhere and the most common location is right where you described. I tried cutting greasy foods out of my diet for a while and found the pain went away.

Consider the possibility of a kidney stone as well... the pain can last several days, becoming quite intense at times as they pass from the kidney to the bladder. I've had several of them, and frankly wouldn't wish them on my worst enemies... the pain can literally take your breath away. :ermm:

I drunk 4 bottles of water yesterday and only one Coke.
I have drank One bottle of Water and One Mountain Dew.

I have pee'd like 70 times today, Whats up with that? Is that all those nasty toxins caused by Coke flushing out every 5 minutes or so?

(my pain is completely gone btw but Ima stick to more water than soda from this day forward)

Gall bladder problems can also present itself as pain in the right shoulder. :)
