I can't really seem to make up my mind regarding the design of my upcoming "MaresWEB" site and logo... Here are some other designs made by a class mate:

Im really starting to see this type of logo produced a lot more now and it bugs me, not that it isn't nice, but its being repeated, take the initials of your company and use them, find a good font and wangle the text, maybe the tail of one initial could lead onto another and perform a shape around it or whatever, i think this would look a lot better and eye catchy, maybe you could add this inside the the 'orb' shape you have there or create another shape or symbol next to your initials that have been styled and combine it all as a logo.

Add a nice effect to the text or keep it simple, test loads of ideas and anything you think of try and create, trust me, you'll find something eye catchy and something you like when you draw it on paper.

Regards

#2 without the orb would look great to me.

Number one or two hm... - most likely I would go with number two.

I say number one: The darkness of the w cancels the lightness of the orb at that spot, and vice versa for the m.

Nice.

2, without the orb.
