Those are normal storm clouds, dunno what other clouds you guys be seeing when there is storms O_O.

Never seen them here in the last 15 years :ermm:

They covered my area, then within 5 minutes filled the whole sky and then the edges of the clouds disappeared, and the whole sky turned plain grey. They only took a few minutes to go from bright and sunny to that, it was just a remarkable sight.

When I was in Florida last year, I noticed that storms come on very quickly and leave very quickly, and the water dries up very fast. Good ol' Florida.

From what I've heard before, that's a typical day in Florida. Was it about 1 or 2pm when the storm came and went?

No, around 6pm... it was irregular to me. Those clouds don't look normal to me.

Haha, it's real, I swear.
Dj: I'm not really that good with graphics, Payton is. Which is why 2 people work for Everglade Media. I could render clouds, but nothing that realistic. I sent the picture to our local newspaper, it's freaky.

So did they use it? Are you getting royaltes. lol.

they look like Mammatus Clouds

That's what I was thinking too, mammatus clouds are really cool looking, I'd love to see them where I live.

Google mammatus images <- Really cool pics!

Just mammatus (indicating severe turbulence in the atmosphere); usually associated with thunderstorms.

Hehehehe, I was just going to say that it was real because I saw something similar a few days ago... then I realized the date and the place where Kenny lives... well, that day I was in Boca Raton, so... it's basically the same one... it was freaky indeed... I flew up I-95 (because I don't live in Boca) north just to avoid the storm, there were lightning strikes that lasted up to five seconds...

Today it was bright and sunny, and all of a sudden we had to turn a light on in this room to see because it was so dark, so we took a look outside and it was a sky from the movie "War of the Worlds"!

....ouch.

Good photography though... can you give permission for my husband to paint this?

I think it looks like one of those desktop wallpapers that's created on the computer to look eerie but yet amazing at the same time. Same sort of feel to it. (Not saying that's what it is, only that's what it reminds me of). So long as it doesn't fry a computer, I think it's cool that you got to see that in person.
