Amity Ville Horror - Really scary, must get it on DVD :D

Quote

As long as sixty years ago, when I first started to read newspapers, I read of floods on the Yellow River and the Yangtze. Who rushed in with men and money to help? The Americans did. They have helped control floods on the Nile, the Amazon, the Ganges and the Niger. Today, the rich bottom land of the Misssissippi is under water and no foreign land has sent a dollar to help.

we must never forget

Charlie & The Chocolate Factory x 2
Saw something with Jenny, but I really can't remember what it was :$ (I've just been reliably informed by my housemates it was Madagascar)

Last 5? Hmmm...this has not exactly been a good year for movies. BUT, if I include DVDs, then:

Batman Begins
Ordet (not my first viewing)
Au Hasard Balthasar
Peter and Paul and
The Merchant of Venice (uneven)

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory sucked. Especially the daddy complex. It's so insipid how they hurry the plot line along so that Wonka could have issues.
Have you ever seen an idealist with grey hairs on his head? Or successful men who keep in touch with unsuccessful friends? You only think you did, I could have sworn I saw it too but as it turns out it was just a clever ad for cigarettes.

Batman Begins, which I thought was pretty good. I can't remember any movies before that, which is somewhat unnerving

Constantine - Rented this movie, the audio quality was terrible, but it had it's amusing moments.
Guess Who - There were a few funny moments, other then that, it was bad.
Cursed - A bit to predictable, but overall it was alright.
Hostage - Pretty good I suppose, Tom Cruise was elderly and a villain all in one movie, you don't see that often.
Hide And Seek - Boring.

The Island - Without doubt the longest advertisement I've ever seen.
Der Untergang - Friggin' great German movie.
Diarios de motocicleta - The greatest movie ever made. Saw it some time ago with a few friends. Some of them instantly became socialists after seein it. The rest fell asleep.

Just saw Wedding Crashers...quite a good flick ;) It had a couple slow parts but the majority of the movie was very enjoyable.

Am going to go see March of the Penguins tonight...albeit a little tipsy. o:)

Ah, let's see...

Dean Koontz's Black River - Not bad, but not very good.
Memento, Re-reversed - Still not "in order" but makes a little more sense than the original.
Star Wars Ep. III: RotS - Pretty window dressing for what I already knew was going to happen, but I still had to see it.

Beyond that, I don't know.

If TV shows count, I watched the entire run of Star Trek: Voyager (on my computer) (7 seasons times 26 episodes) and that was pretty cool, if you like sci-fi/drama. Took about 4-5 months, gonna start with Deep Space Nine soon.

1. War of The Worlds
2. Robots (at IMAX)
3. Mr. and Mrs. Smith
4. Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith
5. The Ring Two

I enjoyed all of those very much. Especially War of the Worlds and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. :)

I saw March of the Penguins. Two stars/5. Often poor-quality photography (but good composition). Drippy and sentimental.
