I had a play around with iPod linux for the 4G a few weeks ago. It was nice but it was very much under development

Ya from what I have read is that they have stable stuff for g1,g2,g3 and dev vertion for g4,mini. I am surprised you put it onto your g4 considering warrenty is null and void when you put it on.

I don't think Apple really cares about ipodlinux. Besides anyone who knows better would reformat iPod so no traces of Linux exist if they need to send it to Apple.
