As long as sixty years ago, when I first started to read newspapers, I read of floods on the Yellow River and the Yangtze. Who rushed in with men and money to help? The Americans did. They have helped control floods on the Nile, the Amazon, the Ganges and the Niger. Today, the rich bottom land of the Misssissippi is under water and no foreign land has sent a dollar to help.

Some of those were just great! Though the Gentoo one was just beyond wrong.

They must be a bit dated... Mandrake is now called Mandriva... and Fedora's established enough to not have to be compared to Red Hat anymore.

And I would have liked to see one for Linspire (most likely it would be making fun of it).

I have to wonder how many people got the Ubuntu one ;)

During the Warty development releases one of the builds shipped with the default wallpaper containing a picture of semi-naked people and there was a bit of a fuss over it

I have to say I didn't get it until Stephen told me. Needless to say I instantly became a Ubuntu fan.

Have you ever seen an idealist with grey hairs on his head? Or successful men who keep in touch with unsuccessful friends? You only think you did, I could have sworn I saw it too but as it turns out it was just a clever ad for cigarettes.
