I am considering purchasing a Notino laptop. Firstly, do you have any experience with them?
Secondly, what kind of RAM could I put in it to upgrade it (it's upgradable to 2gb)?

Notino Notebooks

Many thanks!

According to the specification sheets you can put up to two 1GB chips into it but you'd need to look at the specs for specific model you are interested in for the specific type of RAM, as they vary. Personally, I've never heard of them.

Thanks Jason, I really appreciate it. I hadn't heard of them until recently either. How would one go about finding out what RAM is compatible (as I don't know what notebook I'm going for yet)?

As they're notebooks they'll most likely take SO-DIMM RAM Chips. It's entirely dependent upon the model as to how much they can take. The only way you'll find it out is by doing the research yourself. You'l have to look through the models on the website, possibly research them more on google, or even drop them an email. They'll probably state something along the lines of "Upgradeable to 1GB" or something.

I know that the Notino notebook I'm interested in purchasing can take 2 x 1gb chips. Does that help?

I'm going to read up from those links you've posted.

Thanks Dan!
