Now here's an idea...

Make it so that if a user's member group has permissions to edit their own topic titles and descriptions, give them the ability to use the ajax title/description editing in forum view...

You know the one where you hold down the mouse for a few seconds and you can edit the title and description inline?

Seriously, I mean I can't even walk into a bank with a ski mask on anymore! This profiling has to stop!

Topics and topic-descriptions IPB allows you to do. Xix wants the abilitiy to change the forum title, description via AJAX similar to topic & description.

He specifically asked about topics. The forum name changing would not even make sense, since only admin can change that.

Yes I was only talking about topic titles and descriptions, currently only staff can do this...
