I wrote an article about newspapers on my blog recently. I'm interested to see how many people here actually do read newspapers - whether they be online or not.

Note that it's a multiple choice poll, for those who read newspapers both online and as a print source.

I just ordered Saturday delivery of the Globe and Mail a couple of weeks ago. I really enjoy reading the newspaper.

as I'm not intrested in advertisements and the desaster of the day there is not much left to read in newspapers. the only reason i take a copy of the free newspaper they distribute in the vienna subway is that there's a garfield comic in it biggrin.gif

I read two of our brittish newspapers every day purely for comedy value and so I have something do to on my break from work.

So true.
It can be hard to find any news in some of them.

I read the Independent a few times a week. Mostly I get my news from the BBC, but because newspapers are much less legally constrained than the BBC I tend to find their analysis is better, and the Indie has some damn good commentary as well.

I read BNN and FAZ offline and visit news sites (N24, WEB.DE, etc.) when I'm online.

I do both, but couldn't select that on the poll so I haven't voted.

I buy the Guardian & read it online most days, as well as frequenting The Times website and BBC News.

I like to read USA Today and a more localized newspaper, The Grand Rapids Press. A day without reading the newspaper is like a day without taking a bath for me. I have to have my newspaper and OJ in the morning.

You can now biggrin.gif

Don't regularly read a newspaper myself (sometimes do if there's one lying around!) - usually just read it online!

I read the Daily Mail at home (don't start, Chris, it's all there is tongue.gif), The Times at the library sometimes, and BBC News a lot.

I read both online and text newspapers. I personally prefer newspapers from the newsagents though. In Australia, I usually buy the Sydney Morning Herald and the Sun Herald.
