After a brief delay, Microsoft today made available Windows Media Player version 11. The update includes several enhancements, including a completely revamped user interface, improved syncing, and full integration with the new URGE music service from MTV and Microsoft.
Windows Media Player 11 has been publicly available as a beta download since May of this year. However, issues with the quality of the release caused Microsoft to delay the final product while last minute bugs were ironed out.
Windows Media Player 11 is available for Windows XP users only and is available for both 32-Bit and 64-Bit platforms.

I highly recommend against using URGE. My dad had a subscription up until just a few days ago... He had the subscription where he could download the sons... Then one day he wanted to burn the songs he wanted to download to a CD and it said he had to pay $18 to burn the CD... That's on top of the subscription! Not only that but it would not let him sync his music with his iPod, which was a service he had paid extra for (syncing with "an mp3 player"). All that stuff is written, but in fine print after you click a link... So it's very deceptive. Wouldn't get it at all... Stay with iTunes or anything else
Other than that I like the new Windows Media Player. URGE was "ok" if you don't count the hidden strings attached.

Oh come on, you know better than that. The iPod doesn't player WMA content, yet alone restricted WMA content so of course you can't sync with it
