Paris Protesters Took Advantage of Handicapped Torchbearer's Disability

Sky News Toned It Down

Jing Jin, a female torchbearer on wheelchair experienced physical challenge during the Paris torch relay when she was waiting for the torch in her hand to be lit. She told the press that there were protestors trying to grab the torch from her every several minutes during that 40 minutes of waiting. Her chin and arms were scratched.

Pictures taken by witnesses captured three occasions of her being attacked by well-functioning men. Her wheelchair pusher, a blind athlete, could not offer much help.

Sky News online used a much milder picture (see below) of Jing Jin on its webpage 9th April, totally avoided mentioning what she had experienced and toned the level of violence down as "French policemen hold down a pro-Tibet protestor as the Olympic flame is carried past".

Posted Image

The inhumane attacks on Jing Jin cannot be seen on any western media.Did the attack simply happen too quickly and was missed by western journalists? Look at the two authorised journalists shooting freely in the Sky picture!

Well,"Chinese government biases information with administrative power", yet the western media in democratic world do not need to be forced. They destort information HAPPILY and VOLUNTARILY!!!

But hang on, it was on sky news, and I had heard about it and I most definitely do not watch sky news.

Also as a footnote, how many topics do you need, couldn't the majority of this stuff be posted in a single topic?

Oh look

Posted Image Click for article
But I thought the western media told everyone that the Tibetans were friendly people and it was the central Chinese government that are the violent ones?

Posted Image Click for article
I was under the impression that the western media told everyone that the Tibetan protestors love the Dalai Lama and that he organised all the protests

Posted Image Click for article
Funny how your image managed to hide the caption

From all of 10 seconds of searching

I turned on the TV this morning and at exactly 6:33am ITV's GMTV program had a positive news story about China, but surely that can't be?

The Metro newspaper's readers letters page, all the letters about China today were pro-China, one talking about how Tibet has been part of China for 800 years and how life has improved dramatically in the last 50 years there, and the other criticising those people who have attempted to moronically compare China to Nazi Germany, but again that can't be, why would the media allow that to be published, they hate China right?

The BBC's Have Your Say forum yesterday, several posts from people critical of the BBC's reporting and complementary of China, but again how can that be, why would the BBC allow those posts if they hate China?

Posted Image Click for article

Interesting that the pictures of the western media lies don't link through to the original articles.

It is rather telling that the images come from a site called http://www.anti-cnn.com/

You mention the photos of police from Nepal, now that is a valid point. But did it ever occur to you that if the western media were actually allowed in Tibet (and I'm not talking about state controlled reporting) there might actually be some images/more Chinese friendly reporting? It is human nature, when a government tries to suppress the media, the media is going to assume the worst.

Because BBC received the protests from all the world. If no ppl protested BBC, do you think BBC would edit that UNDER A PRESSURE?

BTW, CNN reedited the image after a lot of Chinese called them, if you don't believe, you can call CNN and ask them. They put the correct picture on the page on Mar.28, also they put a statement link on a very-difficult-to-notice corner.

CNN statement on cutting photos: http://www.cnn.com/2...ibet.statement/

@Stephen, I have told you, let the foreign reporter leave Tibet was for their safety. Some Tibetan thugs prepared some fake Tibetan shot picture and wait for killing several foreigners when the police was nearby and took photos as chinese police kill tibetan and foreigner to make a much bigger propaganda results. The west ppl like you were brainwashed for so long time, if that happened, how worse would u blame China? They killed not only tibitan also foreigner bloody? Think more about it!

Also, some pictures are on other servers. coz anti-cnn.com was attacked by ppl many times a day.

Thank you for that CNN link but it specifically states that the caption on the photo is exactly the same as it was.

I wouldn't blame China if news reporters are killed (unless they were for example deliberately shot by Chinese police), they are killed every day, we have news reporters who report from the middle of war zones for christ sake, it is part of their job. I am not pro or anti China (I freely admit that I do not know enough about the region to form an opinion), but no, because I don't kiss the arse of the Chinese government I am brain washed, plain and simple. It seems that you are the one who is only seeing what they want to see, you can't stand any criticism of your country or media, whilst I criticise my country and media all the time.

Sigh... actually you are an anti-china guy.

btw, I don't believe all things my government said. It's not about who said, It's about what is the TRUTH.

Who told you I can not scold our medias? Is that some anti-china things deep inside ur body tole you?

I can show you the evidence. The first link will search the key word "bullsh*t media " in Chinese, the second link will search the key word "overthrow the government".

You can use some translation software to translate the pages, You will FIND Chinese have ENOUGH freedom on saying anything to the medias and government. Are you shocked?
