I am uncertain if this has been requested before, but here it goes.
Would it be possible to assign an image to be an exclusive thumbnail image for category and album views ?

This is useful when there's a series of images being added to a category that need to be in order?
If you're going to not add more, perhaps the .zip bulk upload feature would help?

This is something *very* high on my personal todo list for Gallery. It's an often requested feature, makes sense, and wouldn't be that hard to accommodate.

We are working out the Gallery 3.1 feature list presently, and this is being discussed.

Could the Gallery zip-upload be fixed to accept compressed files which contain invisible 'Thumbs.db' and 'DS_store' files along with images without error?
It is beyond most of our users skills to remove them from a zip before uploading.
