Image resizing - no medium image Can the medium image be turned off

I only want two versions of each image - the thumbnail and the full sized image. Can this be achieved in the gallery settings?

Also - can the gallery subcategories be visible by default?

I'm pretty sure if you set medium thumbnail sizes to 0 it won't create/set medium sized images (just thumbs and full sized images).

Subcategories are visible by default, normally. That is, assuming you mean a list of the subcategories on the parent category.
