I like the default theme fro IPB3 but it doesn't passed W3C validation. Example is:
<div class='classname'>lorem ipsum</div>

Instead of enclosing the classname with double quote, it's just a single quote which invalidate.

Any plans on updating the theme for W3C validation?

The default theme of the ipb 3 is valid XHTML 1.0 strict as you can see if you validate the page with the w3c validator.

You can use eighther single or double quotes.

Where did you read that single-quotes are invalid? :)

Seems like I'm still living under the cave :(

Perhaps I am misguided ever since I'm into XHTML by the writings and beliefs that only double quotes are allowed. Or the phrase "attribute values must be quoted" got me into confusion because by the word "quoted", what comes to my mind is a double quote. I also read a section in which the examples uses double quotes, that also lead me to believe that only double quote is allowed.

Thanks EliteKiller fot the link, it cleared my wrong belief now. New lesson learned.

To Rikki and IPB team, my sincere apologies to you guys.

No problem :) Since we're on the subject, almost every major page in IPB3 validates to strict. It's sometimes impossible to guarantee it though due to user-generated content. For example, when you posted this yesterday I was going to link to the validation confirmation for our board index, but there was a user online who had non-standard characters in their username, meaning it gave an error. Whereas right now, it's validating :)
