My housemate was just telling me about an Australian show called The Gruen Transfer, it is a show about advertising but in it they have a segment called "The Pitch" where they get 2 ad agencies to make adverts for an unsellable product.

First pitch

Second pitch

The second one is my favourite :D If you look on youtube there are many more, Australian Anti-Tourism, Holiday in Baghdad, Child Labour, Whale Meat, The Australian Democrat Party, Buy Nothing Day and Celibacy. They're a bit hit and miss though.

We'd rather you not, by the way. There's formalities you see.

Don't Worry Mat, the Kiwi's got their revenge when they did an Anti Australian Tourism Campaign and invited two of NZ's leading agencies to compete...
