This suggestion is for the new databases added in 1.1.0.
Could we get another field type for table data?
The only way to add tables is to have HTML in either a WYSIWYG Editor or Text area field. Having this open to everyone could have security issues.

What I purpose is a field that would act like a table but not show any of the HTML involved to the user / admin.
In the admin section you would list your table header info for you columns.
When the end user adds a record that has this field, they will see something kind of like how polls are handled on the forums.
Each section would represent one row and each text area within the section representing a column (based on what is set in the admin)
There would be a button (like polls) to add or remove another row.

This wouldn't be that difficult to do, depending on how advanced you wanted it. Can look into it for 1.1.1 or 1.2.0.

Not sure how advanced you can get with tables.
Maybe being able to edit each row individual, or adding columns / rows, but I don't think we need excel built into this.
Would like to see this sooner then later, would also help users that don't know much about HTML to make their own tables.
