Many users interested in converting to IP.Board ask what is involved in converting a skin from another forum software to IPB, or how skins are created in IPB.

A helpful member of the community has put together a rather exhaustive guide to skinning IPB that we felt might be useful for some prospective customers interested in learning how IPB can be skinned.

didn't there used to be a dashboard page somewhere in IPB where it listed all the colors for all the various areas and let you change them right there? did this go away with 3.0.4 or has is moved?

As for calendar, most colors are actually inherited from other parts of the board, so there are only minimal changes possible.
If there is a question about some particular calendar part(s), I'll be more than happy to answer any question.

Thanks, this is a great guide, another strong selling point for the IPBoard!
I have never used IPBoard (not yet), but looking at this guide it looks like it is very easy to style the look of the forum.
