Well I finally bought the license via paypal. Just wondering how long activation takes as I can't wait to move!

During business hours (which is now), activation shouldn't take long at all; couple of hours at most. We just run some manual fraud screening checks to protect ourselves. Won't be long until you're set up. Welcome

Welcome to IPS Neal. Hopefully with all the people leaving VB, VB will realize they made a big mistake and fix their new licensing structure. I would hate to see IPS raise their prices too, which will be much easier for them to do now that VB has raised their prices. VB4 looks like a great system, but why would anyone pay that much for VB when you can get IPB. I don't think you will be disappointed with your choice.

Liking it so far to be honest, never really been a fan but enjoying the new features and looks so I thought why now. Sure my members will enjoy the new look and features.

I agree 100%, even when just upgrading from 2.3 to 3.0 I had members who either loved the new system or hated it, and I would say it was about 50/50.

To be honest, i'm loving the new look and features. It does feel more social networkingish....and I even managed to convert over myself finally! Although IPB are doing the gallery, which is nice.
If people don't like the change, then they can spend their hard earned cash and create something they like if they wish, sod 'em!
