Hi.

I'm playing with the 24 hour demo right now and really love what I'm seeing. Especially the calendar.

I have a few question.

- I really want to try out the IP.Content. Is it the same as IP.CCS (linked from "page" on the demo)? How do I add more pages to the CCS? If they're not the same, any chance it could be included with the demo? Or is there anywhere I can try it out?

- 1 key feature I really want to see is presenting up-coming events in the calendar on the IP.content page. Can IP.content do this?

- Do you also provides modification service? Or assistant if we're modifying on our own?

- How does template work? Template is one of the thing I really love about phpBB.

- I see some IPboard forum has wiki pages too but I don't see wiki in the product list?

- Are there phpBB3 convertor?

Thanks :)

IP.Content and IP.CCS are the same, yes. It should be included in your demo already. Click My Apps at the top right and choose IP.Content.

To add new pages you click "Pages" from this area of the ACP.

Yes, you would do this by creating a block from the Blocks section of IP.Content. Use a feed block, from the calendar application. A wizard walks you through the process.

We generally refer custom service requests to third parties. You can always email us and ask (doesn't hurt to ask).

You can also try some of these sites: http://community.inv...tml?category=16

We do not provide support for third party customizations.

In your demo, click "Look and Feel", then click on a skin. You can view the templates from there. The template groups are listed on the left. When you open one, the template bits within that group are displayed. Click on one of those bits and the template content is shown in the right hand editor. You can open more than one template group/bit at a time (the editor is tabbed). There is a tab above the left column to view CSS "templates" as well.

You can create a wiki using IP.Content, by setting a database as "wiki-style editing" enabled.

Thank you very much :)

So far so good, looks like it has a lot of things I want in my website. I will continue to use the demo for a while. Is it against the rule to reapply for the demo multiple times?

And how long does the Self-host license last? Is it an annual license?

How long does the Self-hosting license last? Is it annually? Do I have to pay for upgrades within the same version?

Every 6 months there's a renewal of $25 for support, upgrades, and service.

Does the fee cover plugins (blogs, contents, etc)?

Does the $25 renewal fee covers all the purchased plugins too? (blog, content, etc?)

Playing around with CCS, I tried switching between html and bbcode and different wrappers. I think I mess up and lose my template?

To get the IPB wrapper back, edit the page > Use Wizard > Make sure 'Use IPB Wrapper' is set to yes on the first page > click through the rest of it.

More question about conversion. My current website is using phpBB. I think phpBB asked me for a word to be used for encryption for users' passwords. It's been a long time ago I'm not sure.... and I have forgotten the word. Will I need that word to convert the passwords to ipb correctly? Is the word stored in any files or tables?

Members' passwords are automatically converted from phpBB by the converter. :)

Another question regarding conversion. Currently I have phpBB installed in the /forum folder.
Is it possible to install IPB to some temporary folder like /temp, work on the settings and conversion, and then eventually rename /temp into /forum? Of course the phpBB's folder will be renamed to something else.

Yes, you would just need to change a couple settings and recache your skins. After you purchase a license, you'll be able to see this guide, which describes how to do the conversion using the method you want.

Thank you so much for the excellent support so far :) I'm very impressed.

Is there a feature in ip.board that resizes images posted automaticly? In case I use a fixed-width layout for my forum and don't want the images to tear the page apart?
