In last days i see a lot of vb users converting (including myself) to IPB. When i was first planning the conversion, i checked for existing vb-converts to see if they're able to move their data and so.
So for future converts and people in decision for a conversion, let's list the sites that moved from vb to IPB. Let me start with ones i know.

A plain Jane compared to you all's sites, but...

http://www.awalkinfa...lkinfaith.org   converted from vB 4.0

One of the things that struck me the most during my conversion was how easy it was to keep all my existing links I had in Google. After the conversion, copied over four or five files to my root directory, put two lines in my .htaccess file and all my old links pointing to my old (now deleted) vB install seemlessly flowed to my new IPB install and pointed to the correct topic/thread!

Simply Amazing!!!

Hey I need an advice from you. My current vB is in /forum directory. But I want it on / after conversion. Anything I should do that for? I'm currently using vBSEO as well. I've tried conversion several times on test environment. It was really easy. But I'm kind of confused about the vBSeo enhanced old URL to IPB SEO new URL redirection.
Hmm

vBSEO URL to old vBulletin URL rewrite code can be found here.....

http://www.vbseo.com...tall-vbseo-238/

Old vBulletin URLs will then be forwarded to IPB URLs using some files that are packaged with vBulletin to IPB converter.

The link you gave me provide only show thread redirection. Anyway the support staff here assured me that IPB converters can take care of the vBSEO enhanced URL structure. Since AWS used vBSEO so I guess I should wait for his opinion.
Hmm

Glad to see you got the name you wanted. :)

As you have discovered, within reason the staff are willing to do whatever it takes to help someone convert an existing community to IPB. :)
