I want to get local restaurants and businesses to post their events, bands, specials, etc into my calendar. But getting them to do it manually when they are already posting into eventful, google calendar, their own sites, etc. is difficult.
Calendar could really use an rss import.

RSS into calendar is a fantastic feature request!

You can already import iCal feeds (e.g. Google Calendar).

RSS feeds don't often translate into calendar events. The technical side of it wouldn't be too difficult I imagine, but logically speaking...I'm not sure it would make sense for most users.

I have several rss feeds that I'd like to have automatically put in the calendar. Is this possible?

There is no functionality to import RSS into Calendar right now, only ical feeds.
