Dear Invision Power Services,

How long answering a pre-sales question does typically take you?

I have submitted one through the form on your Contact Us page about a week ago, to no avail.

I have then emailed it to sales@invisionpower.com on Friday morning your time (1PM GMT), and have not received a reply either. I have checked my Junk Mail folder and even our gateway logs - there were no incoming messages from your domain beside the forum registration a few minutes ago.

Here is my question itself:

I am contemplating migration of my company's existing forum from SMF to an engine backed by a commercial company. Is it possible to evaluate your migration tools on your free trial account or otherwise?

With best regards,

Dmitry

It was suggested to me to buy a cheapo hosted plan. Then I could play with it for as long as I like, test migration, etc. And it's only $5/mo.

If you could please PM me the address you sent your email from so I can query our database that would be a big help. Responses shouldn't take that long :)

Thank you for the pointer, Michael. However, I was asking if it may be possible to somehow try the result of the conversion...

This makes a lot of sense, though for the sake of keeping information up-to-date I must add that the cheapest plan seems to be $10/month now.

OK, now I see it, but:

Why offer a cheaper option at all if it is displayed so non-prominently?
