It would be great to have support for Amazon S3 and RackSpace Cloud Files. If this were added, it would be great if a transition tool from local to a file hosting service was also provided.

+1 Official module, hook or whatever would be nice but I am going to be looking into this in the future so if there is enough need from the community I would look into creating something that supports this.

1+ Really need a solution for large storage so users can upload files >500mb
