When printing an invoice or packing note, the way the title is printed is frankly... crap. It looks cheap, nasty and thrown together. Rather than extracting and titling the invoice/packing note with however many of the ordered items will fit the available space, a better method must be found. There may be other ways, but invoice numbers alone or a global option to title ALL invoices "Widget Order" (or whatever), would improve the appearance greatly.

what are the item descriptions doing up there anyway? not impressed.

all that's needed is

"Invoice No: 12345"
"Packing Note No: 12345"

etc

and its still like this in Nexus v1.3.1 - 5 months after this was first commented on...


If it isnt going to be changed or improved, please tell us how we can change it in the template or hard code it

The skin template is:

(Nexus) Clients --> printInvoice

You'd want to change this:

<h1>{parse expression="sprintf( $this->lang->words['invoice_number'], $invoice['i_id'] )"}: {$invoice['i_title']}</h1>

To not have the $invoice['i_title'] bit.

Sorry Mark, I was a bit unspecific, I needed this for the ACP side, but we will do the change forum side as well
