I missed the simple function of pricedroping,

what I mean is to set old price and the new price and the end result in package view is a the old price presented like this

700$

and new price

written as usual.

Yeah but it looks bad (price and description are in different places on the page) and isn't convenient.

Fantastic feature suggestion. Count my vote! X-Cart has this and I find it works well to attract new sales.

Another suggestion to add to this would be to give a discount if cart total is $whatever. Or free shipping if cart total reaches a certain amount.

I see in Nexus 1.4 discounts were introduced.

Please go the extra mile and do PRICE DROP function. Discounts does not exactly do what PRICEDROP DOES.

Cheeky way to do it: set the price to the "original" price, then add a user group discount which applies to all groups for the price you want it to actually be.

And this actually does not do what I'm talking about here. The price I add for a user group discount just becomes the new price.

I'm looking for smething like this to be displayed on the Nexus shop.

Item: XXX
Price: 700$ 600$

and here's a great example even showing how big a discount is in percentage.

Showing the discount percentage along with the new price would be a great feature. It's been the most requested feature so far. And with different user groups having different levels of discounts, putting it just in the product description is not practical.
