Subforums on ipb 3.2 beta 1 are represented in a confused way.

• there is no unread indicator
• the titles are very confused, it is not clear how many subforums are there because they are written one after the other.

...for comparison I show how subforums are represented on my board; an icon before each subforum, blue one for the uread subdorums, a gray one for the read subforums.

There is also no separator between two sub forums. It kind of looks like one big word.

I like the current layout, but perhaps adding a small round icon prior to each name would help, especially if this altered colour on new unread posts.

Indeed - or they were before CSS went walkabout again Was just suggesting a method for splitting them up slightly, whilst keeping the layout.

Indeed they are bolded but issue is all the categories look like one big word/sentence when they are all bolded. If there would be separator like in IPB 3.1.x it would be great.

The bold thing is good; it just miss a separator... it way it is now it seems that is one big link only.

Thanks Alex, this is an elegant solution and in line with the new graphics.

It would be ok whether the icon is a simply "dot" separator or if the icon shift from blue (unread) to gray (read) similar to the topic's icon.

Perhaps a grey or black bullet will look nice to separate the sub forums and to not bold them too much. Having them BOLD like that is what makes them take up so much space in that area IMO.

Please make subforums "mark as read" -able. That's my only grudge against how subforums are represented(this was an issue on 3.1 aswell).
