question about hosted forum

i was unsure if IPB allows mods on hosted forums cause i looked on pages but no infomation about it

You can use them with the help of the hook system only.
(Files are encoded)

Hooks, Skins, and Applications are all able to be installed. However, certain core files are encoded, so you are not able to make direct file edits.

However if you purchase a licence you can use this on your hosted community and get ability to edit files if you wish :)

You can always use the Starter 5 package to test your things and upgrade afterwards as needed :)

that's a good idea that's what i needed


edit - how long its normally takes to setup - i just ordered one just now :)

Usually quite quickly during the week but as its both the weekend and a holiday period in the US, it may take a little bit longer. :) , thank you for your patience.

We open back up Tuesday. But, it might get done earlier.

yeah its was very fast - after few minutes - its already done but i was wondering about support cause i tried to access the support area cause i am host customer - so i need send the detials to accouct deptment to link? or soemthing?
