So many sites only offer ATOM feeds which is what kept us from converting in the past to IPB.  With the upcoming 3.2 release, is support for importing ATOM feeds finally being added?

Half the sites we want to import use ATOM feeds which makes the idea of integrating import feeds useless without support for it.

Hello,

we haven't added ATOM feeds support in IPB 3.2.0.

Is there any big difference between ATOM and RSS?

vBulletin has supported both feed imports since version 3.7.x which is only reason we have not converted our site to IPB.

We had planned to convert to IPB back when 3.0 came out but eliminating a significant number of sites that offer only ATOM feeds is just too much of a downside.

I am really shocked that such a common feature has not already been a standard part of IPB after all this time.

Perhaps one day ..
