Go to Admin Panel > Members > Notification Defaults (on the left column)

There you can define what a user can define and what not, so you can control what kind of notifications users get by default.

The user can contro himself in his account preferences what, where, how and which kind of notifications he wants to get....

Still looking for clarification regarding the rep point issue. Is there a simple way to recount them and reset for each user?

Yet another question - is there a way to enable notifications for receiving a like or rep?

I am writing a script to convert the reps from vB.

Nope I did not. Was I supposed to? Is this already included in IPB? I didn't see an option for it under notifications.

Nevermind, I see that the option was not enabled in my settings. Yet this is not an option in the admin panel under the Notification Defaults section. Am I just overlooking something?

Is this new in 3.2.3?

Anyway, went ahead and took the plunge. I guess I am stuck with you guys .

I wonder if I can get these two users merged.

Thanks, I can't wait to start working on our site. I'm sure I will have questions along the way but I can post them in the Active Customers Board now. :sorcerer:
