Is there any return policy upon purchasing IP Board for the first time? I currently have vBulletin and am looking to possibly convert.

If you wish to fully test the product(s) over and above the free online demo, you could always take out a hosted solution for one month - say the $9.99 option.
If you dislike it (which I doubt it) it will have only cost you this amount.

As with most virtual goods there is no returns because there is no way to know if a user has removed it from their computer or has stopped using it.

My understanding with the hosting is you can get a refund if you are not happy with the software. You cannot once you've downloaded the actual software get a refund as who's to say you're not going to keep it?

With hosting you can always terminate it at the end of the month.
