When you RSVP to a recurring event, it marks you as attending ALL events - this shouldn't be the case, or you should at least have an option to attend all recurring or just the singular event.

Hm. You have a valid point, but with how recurring events are handled at present I'm not sure how easy this would be to change.

This still seems to be the case. If someone RSVP's they are committing to coming to every instance of this event.

Not to mention, if you delete one event out of the recurring, rather than get an option to remove the singular it removes the lot! This makes recurring events rather limiting...

A recurring event is stored as one entry in the database. You cannot delete a single instance.
And no changes have been made to RSVP functionality since my last reply (we've not released any update for Calendar yet at all, in fact).

If you are tracking functionality improvement ideas, it would be great if there was an "I'm not attending button". (and an option to make that visible).
It probably seems like a workable solution for people would just not click the current button, but its helpful to know when scheduling events (that take place out in the real world) how many people are not coming vs. just ignoring the calendar item and show up anyway.

I've the same issue
we do have a re-occuring meeting every sunday => if you're RSVP'ing one meeting, seems like you're attending the meeting every week and not only at one date
is there a workaround/fix for that? or is the really the only solution to enter the meeting each week again and again... which would make re-occuring meetings pretty useless...

still struggling.... workaround available, instead of creating RSVP's every week?
