Suggestion, Adding polls to articles

I have a bunch of news posts with polls but when promoting to article it doesn't take the poll with it, would be a nice feature to have

Just ran into this problem. Getting a poll into an article is extremely hard for something that the main boards do so easily.

I think it would be even better to create a Poll field type. That way we could easily add polls to any database via the field manager.

Have you thought about having a free account from someone like surveymonkey and then embedding the survey form in the article with a custom BB code?

We're not resisting it. In fact, we have an internal discussion about enhancing polls in general. There's just nothing to report at this time, however.
I don't know when or if the discussions will come to fruition.

One of the most popular forum sections on my site is called "The Polling Station" . . where people can make polls about anything. It would be fantastic if IP.Content supported polls in articles!

I hope in the direction of an extension usable by any application... many applications would have a use for such.We're not resisting it. In fact, we have an internal discussion about enhancing polls in general. There's just nothing to report at this time, however.

Polls is almost a must have for IP Content. Please implement.
