I've noticed here, you upload the images to the site for them to be viewed

is it possible in the settings to make it URL only?

so the person puts the URL in there and then that's used instead of more of the websites bandwidth getting used?

this is the key feature that I am interested in.. from what I've seen on this site the gallery has some nice features that members would enjoy, but those are expected and I'm more concerned about external links being able to be added

thanks

No. To be honest having a gallery doesn't use that much bandwidth and any decent host should be giving you truck loads of bandwidth these days.

There is no setting for a URL only gallery. You have to upload them on your server.

You are able to restrict the amount of space / bandwidth per member group too, this can also work for the guest group if required. :)

I'd suggest trying the demo if you're not sure to see what you think.

I host it myself..

and that's unfortunate that you have to upload, is there any addons to have it just embed a URL or no? it's pretty much deal breaker to me
