I am most interested in moving over from the cluttered mess Vbulletin turned into. Vbulletin and IP.Board is exceptionally expensive no denying this. I live in a third world country and our currency is literary 10 times weaker then yours. For us it is almost a full salary. I am worried that IP.Board will also turn into this mess as they try to follow features VBulletin has. Then it is thousands in my currency lost again.
I am also worried that VBulletin (I use only the forum part) wont import properly, how well does it convert?

We have many, many clients who have converted to IP.Board
If you take a look here at the converters page, then on the left side click one of the VB versions, you'll see exactly what is converted over.

Let me assure you that our plans for future development are entirely not based on what our competitors have done or are doing. Our future development plans are based upon what our customers tell us they need.
