Will IP.Content wrappers work on non-IPS pages? Say if I wanted to use the IPB header and footer on a Photopost or Reviewpost site, would that work?

No, it has to be using the Content system otherwise it wont work. There is a free mod called IPBWI however unless you know specifically what you are doing, you will not get even close to loading the headers and footers.
Did you like my Post? Did i Help you anyway with the contents of my Post? If So...

Hi,
Wrappers won't work outside of IPS software I'm afraid - they're executed by our software, so it needs to be an IPS-generated page for them to be of any use. IP.Content blocks, however, can be used on any page, if that's of any help

what is hinted at but not said is the wrapper itself is generated with php, with raw php blocks and some effort one could "wrapper" another cms/system within a "wrapper" of ipb code in ipc blocks puled out to said other sites templates/whatnot externally.

for reference.
http://community.inv...less-premium32/
is that effort expended... its all blocks in a page template.
each block its own unique bit of the wrapper functionality re-generated dynamically through much effort...
using external blocks, one could use it as desired by OP.

You can also create raw PHP pages. I'm not familiar with the other programs you are using, however one COULD create a raw PHP page in IP.Content, using the board wrapper, and then include the necessary PHP files from the external program to tell it to generate a given page. While this is doable at a technical level, many programs won't work properly included in such a setup (they may call "exit" at the end of execution, causing the rest of the IPB code not to function, or they may not be able to adjust their URLs to stay inside the IP.Content URL structure, etc.). I just mention it, because if those programs can support such a setup, it would be the easiest route and would be supported out of the box.
