this is an idea i have been mulling around repeatedly, but what if someone wants a folder of Pages, they very basically have little choice as to what to do with the Page to actually be loaded ccs/folder/
Yes, we can make a page at ccs/file, this is not the same.
rather than a single setting at root, that setting at root, but on each folder the ability to enable omit page in file-name for 1 Page within that directory by setting the Folder Default Page.
moving the file would inevitably need to clear this value, and pull a single still remaining one, or show the options to change on move/delete(I like this one :P ).
Thoughts?

I accidentally ran into issue somewhat related to this (was easy fix) and think this may be helpful too.

If you define "index.html" as the default page, can't you just create an index.html in each folder? I don't see any real value in defining a default page on a per-folder basis given this. You might be able to, but most people don't do this in Apache for a typical website - they just upload an index.html to each of their folders if they want the folder to have a default page. Same idea here.
