1. If I purchased a forum, and installed "Pages" on it, can I make it the default view when people view the site? When people visit the site, rather than the forum index showing it shows this first?
2. Can each individual user on the forum have a personal photo album that is only viewable via their profile? Is that a feature that I need to pay extra for?
3. Is there a way to take out the "profile feed" and instead make it profile comments so they show when viewing the profile?
4. Can I edit the text for things on the forum, for example at the top where the tabs are that say "Forums, Members," etc, can I change those names to something else?
5. If I purchased a hosted community package is there an option to have a higher chat count than 20 for an additional fee?
6. If I purchased a forum license, would it be cheaper to host it with Invision or with a 3rd party company? Also, is it mandatory to renew your forum licence to keep it up online, or can I pay the $175 as a one time fee?
7. Can I set default notification settings for new registered users. For example getting a forum notification when your post is quoted, etc.
A few questions

- Yes, it's possible. Example: my homepage created via IP.Content http://www.freespace.sk/ and forum http://forum.freespace.sk/
- There are few possibilities based on your set up in ACP: Every user can create three kinds of albums: viewable for all members and guests, viewable only for your friends and viewable only for you. In ACP you can set up some albums viewable only for desired members groups
- No sure with this
- Yes, you can rename or translate this
- Charles will tell you
- Some IPS Staff gives you better information than me
- Yes, notification system has lot of features. Every members can set up it based on his/her own will.

2) What Axel Wers described requires IP.Gallery, just to be clear. It does not have a "profile page only" option I'm afraid.
3) No. The profile feed *is* profile comments (and status updates), however, so if you weren't clear on that, perhaps you don't need to replace it since it is what you were after anyways?
5) Yes, our highest packages go up to 250
6) We will only recommend our own hosting, so if you want an objective opinion about where to host, your best bet is to post on a third party website like theadminzone.com or webmasterworld.com. If you purchase a full license, you can host anywhere you want. You do *not* need to renew for your site to stay online (however, you must renew if you want to continue receiving updates, support, spam service, etc.). You can renew at any time for $25, regardless of how long your license may have lapsed too (so if your license expires in May and a new version is released in August, you simply renew for $25).

I see your packages that include the 250 users are for the advanced packages; i'd want say for example an average user of 30 or 40 users, but make it so 50 people can be in the chat at one time

And for Clarification - I can set the IP Content page so it's the front page/main page, when people go to my website they'll see that first?

On the hosted plans, your maximum online at anyone time would be the limit of the plan. This includes the chatroom as it is still part of your community. You would need to go for a plan which allowed for the number that you expect in your chat room. You can of course upgrade to a higher plan at any time, so perhaps start on the Plus 40 and then upgrade if required and your community becomes popular.

Yes, you can actually set any application as the index page, blog, portal, content etc.
