Hi, I want to convert my vbulletin 4.1.8 forum to ipb 3.2.3.

But how can I redirect links?

For example: someone posted about my forum links in some other site. if someone click that link, will he reach my new forum? is it possible?

A script is available for converting users that will redirect the old vBulletin links to the new IP.Board URLs.  I believe it is included in the converters zip download.

While I have not worked with this script extensively, I took a look and it appears after you convert you simply upload Tools/Links - vBulletin 4.0/* to your IPB root directory afterwards, and that's it. :)  If you email sales@invisionpower.com, one of our converter specialists can answer for you for sure.

You have to put the code in .htaccess that they have posted over at vbseo on the one thread or blog where they say how to uninstall. If you didn't modify how your urls were rewritten it is pretty easy.

Ass the uninstall rewrite rule into your htaccess file, upload the showthread.php, forumdisplay, php, and config.php to your forum's root folder. Don't forget to edit the config.php file with the appropriate names for your conversion id's.
