I use the ad code integration, have for years, but always find myself staring at its shortfall.

What I've alwatys wanted is a way to control who sees what section. I might want a premium member to see none. I might want guests to see all. I might want a regular member to see only board index, new member to see all except sidebar etc (I have multiple user groups). I would like to reward long time posters by reducing their ads (but not all).

Even better, I'd like to give specific member groups the opportunity to disable ads (yes believe it or not some people like ads because they do what they should - present relevant resources to them). Give a premium member the chance to opt out of all, regular member opt out of some etc.

All or nothing to selected groups is very limiting. More control in usercp and admincp would be worthwhile features.

nexus does all of that ?

thats easy to do in nexus by setting up a upgrade in nexus at no cost where they can upgrade / downgrade, just have premium group and say premium + and let them toggle, plus would have no or limited ads

You would still get the same ad code integration. I want to control each area of ad integration. I can't imagine Nexus would do that.

Are there any plans to improve this feature? It needs to have more control, ie select which groups see the forum view ads, the board view ads, the topic view ads, the sidebar ads. Might want guests to see all but certian member groups only to see forum view etc. All or nothing for member group control is poorly designed.

? what are you talking about you can set each region per group permissions in nexus, you can set guests to see all ads and and also select if another group only see forum ads etc, all ads have a location and a group setting and with these you choose the combination of who what and where so to speak

Perhaps you don't understand what is being suggested here. I don't need to sell things or sell ads, I want to show google adsense in "Ad Integration" but want more control.

Are there no staff around here to engage this conversation or do I have to start a ticket to get some information?

As mentioned Nexus can do most of what you want, it's not only a store to sell things, it's better ad integration, a ticket system, store, hosting billing system and more.

I don't need a ticket system, billiing system or store. I use google adsense and would like to see each area of ad integration have its own member control.

Nexus does just that.

Nexus does that...

...for $75 plus $70/yr. Many people will not make that back in Adsense and it's a lot to ask for one feature if you're not using the rest of the Nexus product.

That's a little pricey for my needs.
