As with all forums there a few hacks/additions that are needed and so I'm going to ask a few questions.
1) I have the thanks mod on my forum, will these get imported into IPB as likes?
2) Apart from support time/phone differences are there any other differences between the standard and business license?
3) Currently we have a rotating ad that is randomly changed every 12 hours, (so at midnight a new advertise forum title is chosen and that ad is used tell midday when it is changed again) with the details including a picture taken from the title of a forum, is the nexus add on capable of doing this?
4) We do a monthly news letter which from a generated list of forum subscribers, this list is all people who accept admin emails, apart from one group who have opted out of these newsletters. Is this easy possible to generate?
5) If some posts to a thread you are replying to are you warned when you go to post, that a new post has been received since you read the thread?
6) Can you have images in the title of a forum?
7) When importing a VB 3.8 forum, is there a system for pairing up the old thread titles to the new IPB thread titles with a 301 redirect to google will find the new forum easily and links to other forum posts in old threads will still work.
8) When you delete a user in VB their username is still shown with a guest below it? We hide this username using a template edit, is this needed/possible in IPB?
9) Will forum prefixes be imported from VB?
10) Is there a test script to check my server will run IPB?
thanks in advance

1. I don't think they will, but it may be possible to do this but its not a default part of VB (ie: its an extra)
4. Yes you can generate bulk emails via the ACP with specific limits (which groups and x posts / last visit etc). Those who have chosen to decline admin mailings will not receive any.
5. Yes if a reply is posted while you are composing one, a small note appears
6. There are some modifications for this if I remember correctly although I *think* it will accept raw HTML into the title / description although its not directly supported doing it this way.
10. The requirements check is here (right hand side of this page, download the .zip) > http://www.invisionp...equirements.php

2. You can compare the differences at http://www.invisionp...rd/purchase.php
3. That is not part of nexus, although you can do banner rotation etc. But you can always add scripts directly to the templates.
7. Yes, we supply you with redirect scripts.
8. Not required as the display name would no longer be connected.
9. Not 100% sure what you mean by forum prefixes, you can see what will be converted over at http://www.invisionp...ite/convert.php
