Hello
We're considering moving our forum from vbulletin 3.8 to IPB and we're interested in the status of your mobile apps.
First off, we couldn't find the iPhone app you mention either in the US Appstore or in the Romanian Appstore. We noticed that the link on your website points to the Great Britain Appstore. Please clarify as to the availability of this app.

Secondly, is there any news about an Android app?

Hello,

We're currently refreshing our mobile app product, so it's presently unavailable on the App Store - sorry for the confusion. We'll be talking in more depth about what can be expected from the new app soon, along with Android news.

Thanks for your interest :)

The version previously in the app store did, yes.  As Rikki said, we are overhauling our mobile app offering and do not have any information publicly available for the new version just yet.

Can IPBoard please update this topic when he Android app is ready?  I want to make sure I know to tell our clients, so I'll follow this topic.  Also wondering when the Blackberry version will be available?  We use the forum to communicate with the oil and gas industry, many of whom rely on Blackberries...
Thanks.

We will be purchasing the Community Suite for installation on our servers. Do we need to create a custom skin or templates or do any other customization for users to use the Mobile App?

If we install the Community Suite and customize it with our branding, will a mobile user using the mobile app see those customizations or do all mobile app users see the standard IPS blue skins?

Thanks!

Hi the mobile apps does not use a 'skin' in the way that you are thinking of it. It is not just the mobile skin in a webview or something along those line.
More details will likely be disclosed soon :). Sorry for the vague response.

There is a mobile skin built into the IP.Suite, to add your own branding to it, you'd have to edit it in the ACP.
