You have to wait for your demo to be set up, and no. If you buy a license, you don't have to buy IPS hosting as well, you pick one or the other. If you buy the license, however, you need to purchase your own hosting plan from another company.

If I remember correctly the email should contain the demo link. :)

Regarding board licence vs hosting, if you opt for a hosted community you get the board with hosting although you are unable to download the board / applications as such. If you purchase a self hosted licence you would need to purchase hosting from either IPS or another hosting provider.

If you are not sure, I'd suggest signing up for one of the smaller hosted community packages and try it for a month or two then you can make your mind up if you wanted to expand / purchase a self hosted licence etc.

Hello,

Andy is correct. The email to confirm the demo has been set up will contain a URL as well as the admin username and password.

If you are having issues with the demo, please feel free to submit a ticket to sales either via the contact us form or via email to sales@invisionpower.com and we will check it out for you and assist.
