Hello,
I'm thinking about purchasing IP.Board with IP.Content, although some questions bother me.
The most important one is: is there a way to change the rating system of articles (in IP.Content) from 0-5 stars to like/no-like?

Ratings cannot be changed, no.  Not at least without some customizations.

However articles also support the reputation system (which, itself, can use a like method).

I looked for that option in demo, but I can't seem to find it.
Here's my demo:

How do I enable it?

Apologies for any confusion.  That option is new in IP.Content 2.3.0 (currently in alpha testing stages, with an estimated spring release).

Oh :( Would it be possible for me to do some simple modification in the current version?
I've found that: http://community.inv...utationphp-r377
And I'm wondering if it's any use in that matter.

It is of use, but IP.Content is a bit more complicated than that document would lead you to believe, due to it supporting multiple databases.  It wouldn't be "simple" to add this to the current version IMO.

What about modyfiing the star rating system? It would require changing it to 0-1 star rating and implementing the cancellation of your own rating. Would it be difficult?

While you could largely change the start rating system to 0/1 stars, I don't believe this would really give you what you are after.  The total 'value' is an average of the ratings, so the average of every record would always be 0 or 1 (where-as a like or reputation system will increase the total 'value' with each reputation).  Additionally, if hacker users realized what you did, they could potentially send requests manually to the AJAX rating routine with higher values, unless you also modified the backend code.  In addition, you would be kind of 'stuck' with this system if you went that route most likely, when IP.Content 2.3 (which is right around the corner) is actually providing you with what you want.  I'd assume you'd want to change over to the natively supported system after updating, but after using a modified rating system that would be awkward - suddenly every record is 'rated' 1 star.

I, personally, think your best option would be to wait for IP.Content 2.3 and do this the right way.  It really isn't that far off.
