I see that although there is My Media button in the commenting system, there is no ability to upload a separate file.

Is there a chance to add upload functionality in commenting, for IPD files?

So is there an upload capability aside from using already uploaded attachments or am I missing something? :logik:

You're not missing anything, no comments systems in IPS products allow uploading of attachments. I don't think that's something most people would need to do in a comment.

The comment system is a global feature, and attachments is something that should be supported globally for all areas allowing comments, not just in one app/location. As such, this sort of change would be needed in the core first, and then IP.Downloads could make use of it.

I have a database that displays photographs. I would like a member to add a comment and attach a better/more recent photo, but it doesn't seem to be possible?? If I've read this topic correctly that is what Mr Hood is asking for??
