Hosted communities to self-hosted license

Hi,

I am looking at purchasing the basic 10 plan.

I was wondering what the process will be like if I decide that I want to start hosting my website via another host along with the purchase of a IP.board license.

Is this a difficult process? What will I experience?

Thanks

Save your hosted database to your computer.
Install the board to your new host.
Import the database from your computer.

Hello,

If your other host as cPanel it may well be possible to do it very easily.

We also offer a server transfer service if you would like one of our support team to do it for you.

Don't forget to download your backup files and images you want to keep.

Is there documentation that spells out how to do this? (Especially for those of us who aren't tech savvy? :) )

Thanks!

If both hosts have cpanel (we do, so this would depend on your new host), you can use a feature inside cpanel which will automatically transfer your entire site with just a few clicks.
