If and Invision forum site is owned by one person and they are retiring with no more interest in running it and they want to transfer ownership of the software/domain: can it be transferred to more then one person? Say 2 people?
Any thoughts are most appreciated as the owner of our site would like to tranfer ownership, but we are wanting me and another persons name on it so there is not just one.
Would the server be a separate thing, if so any info on how to do that?

A one software licence can be "transfered" to one account only, one licence, one account. Also be aware one licence is for only one active domain!
Your owner can transfer an individual licence to a third party (you in this case) once he has owned it for 6 months.
He may login into his client area, click "purchases" and then "transfer" to the right of the license.
The licence has to be active however before he can transfer it (renewed) and there is a fee of $20 which includes any applications associated with it.

While only one person can be the account holder, you can add additional people to the account as "Alternate Contacts", and they can obtain technical support and help manage account activities.
